Graduate Programme
BACKGROUND
- An initiative of Palcard Human Capitall and a Talent Search Programme
- Addresses critical skills shortage in the economy.
- Broad based Black economic empowerment.
- Employment equity.
- Accelerated access and career development of graduates.
- Department of Trade and Industry codes of good practice and ASGISA.
OBJECTIVES
- Provide employers best candidates in critical skill areas.
- Attract qualifying persons in:
- Engineering
- Accounting
- Finance Technology (ICT
- Develop critical management capability through a structured modular programme.
- Provide on the job mentorship through the workforce investment hub.
Applicable fees
- Registration and enrollment
- R3500 (20 day induction programme).
- Paid by candidate
Placement (full time)
- 6% gross annual package (once off).
- Paid by candidate.

Phase 1 (12 Weeks)
- Candidates are enrolled on the programme based on qualification/merit.
- Candidates undergo a 12 weeks academy model management development programme. (60% Pass rate is needed to be accepted to Phase II)
- Programme will focus on the following:
- People management and leadership.
- Resource management (Finance).
- Project management.
- Manufacturing and production.
- Each candidate to produce a portfolio of evidence covering research work and case studies in all above areas.
- Monthly forum (Management Interface Forum) organizer with key private and public sector managers. These serve as a networking platform, and relationship building and introduction to mentors.
Phase II -
In-service placement on the job mentorship
- Candidates placed in companies/government Departments.
- Mentor allocated. Monthly roundtable sessions with mentors
- Visits to companies (research and exposure)
- Candidates may remain in the employ of organization beyond the mentorship timelines.
- Minimal remuneration provided. Candidates completes POE (portfolio of evidence) to be
co-signed by mentor in respect of each module/department.
- Monthly forum (management interface forum) continues. 60% and above – pass rate – certificate issued.
Phase III
- Placement of candidates in employment
or
- Candidates continue in mentorship company until permanent placement position is available in the market.
- NB: Candidates may exit (for fulltime placement) during any stage of the programme, and may continue with programme on a part-time basis.
- NB: Palcard Human Capitall will market all participating candidates from month 1.
